Description

The Pureflow AirDog II 5G 165 GPH A7SABF589 lift pump, or Fuel Preporator, is a must have upgrade for your 2011-2016 6.7L Powerstroke. The fuel system on your 6.7L diesel truck is the heart of the vehicle’s performance and reliability. This high flow and high pressure lift pump is preset at 65psi right out of the box. The II-5G features a fully adjustable (up to 75psi) integrated diaphragm pressure regulator. This regulator offers more consistent fuel pressure and allows for higher flow rates at pressure. It can also be boost compensated to battle any pressure drops under open throttle (boost compensation kits sold seperately).

The II-5G DF-165 Powerstroke fuel pump mounts to the inner frame rail using the supplied sandwich plate mounting system. The suction/fuel supply side hooks directly up to the factory lines on the frame rail. The pressure side line connects directly to the injection pump feed line and the air/vapor return is sent back to the tank through a return “Y” that ties the AirDog return to the factory engine return. This AirDog II 5G 165GPH Powerstroke lift pump is recommended for trucks that have a moderately upgraded fuel system (meaning stock to larger injectors and injection pump; will also support aggressive tuning). The 165GPH pump is designed for performance applications reaching up to 800 RWHP! Backed by a lifetime warranty.

The AirDog II-5G DF-165 for the 11-16 Powerstroke is engineered with the most proven, quiet and reliable motor technology on the market. It also retains the “demand flow” capabilties of the previous AirDog II systems. This means that is has a constant supply of clean, pure fuel available for your injector pump at all times. Any fuel not used by the engine is simply recycled back to the tank, so it will never “over-fuel” your system (see How It Works). The II-5G features larger 3/4-16 O-ring boss inlet and outlet ports. A 7/16-20 (-4) low-flow return is used to prevent aeration in the fuel returned to the tank. The II-5G A7SABF589 uses the same better-than-OEM fuel filter (FF100-2) and water separator (WS100) as the previous AirDog II models.
